But we arrived after midnight because of the late flight and left the apartment in the morning, so, we didn't have really time to get a proper impression :)

We travel often and I hardly ever write reviews but feel compelled to leave one for the hosts of this property. We LOVED these hosts!!!!!! Honestly, the best hosts we have ever encountered. Communication after booking, prior to check-in and while there was excellent and I could not ask for kinder, more prompt or attentive responses. We arrived on a very early morning flight with four children. The hosts were so unbelievably considerate and had an assortment of cereal and milk waiting for us. It's a great location to KEF and to the bridge between continents. Often photos will make a space look larger than it is but this home was very spacious for our family of six. It was very clean and very well stocked. If we ever make it back to Iceland we will definitely stay with these hosts again. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality.

Just 25 km from the iconic Blue Lagoon, these cabins come with free high speed Wi-Fi, a furnished terrace and a hot tub. Very warm and cozy cabin. Check-in was easy as well as the communication with the hosts. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed, was close to the ocean and had an awesome hot tub. Would have liked to stay even longer!

The family-run Guesthouse 1x6 is in the old part of Keflavík, a 7-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. Andi and Yuki are truly the epitome of exceptional, welcoming hosts. When reading the reviews prior to booking it all seemed too good to be true. The minute Andi picked us up from the airport, however, we understood exactly what everyone meant. We only got to stay one night at 1x6, but in that night we got to connect with people all over the world, and made some new friends from Oregon. The added homemade breakfast as great, and they were ready to help with anything we needed. For our next trip to Iceland, we’ll for sure be back!

This boutique hotel is next to central Keflavik’s picturesque marina, 3.5 km from Keflavik Airport. Everything was absolutely perfect! The hotel was spotlessly clean, with a stunning view of the bay that made our stay extra special. The service was outstanding - everyone was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was delicious – beautifully served by the staff, with fresh fruit, creamy skyr yogurt with muesli, and a lovely selection of fish and cheese. It was the perfect place to relax after a long flight and start our Icelandic adventure. Highly recommended!
