It's a spacious apartment, only a short drive from the airport, walking distance into town and close to supermarkets. 45 min drive to Reykjavik and lots of scenic excursions are a short drive away. Approx 30 mins to see the Bridge Between Continents, the lava pools, volcano 2hour drive to Geysir. 1.5 hours to Selfoss and 3hours to Vik. The apartment is an excellent base of operations:) The beds are very comfortable, sauna and outdoor hot tub are amazing. Plenty of towels. The music surround system is very cool. The apartment feels safe and secure. The washing machine and drier are decent so i'd recommend staying for at least a week and packing light and just do laundry as required. Actually, our clothes dried on the radiators in the gym so didn't need the drier. Fernando's is a good local place to order tasty pizza from. General tip: There is a car hire place in Keflavik so you if you're tired from your flight, you could just use the free shuttle to the apartment then sort out car hire later. If you do hire a car at the airport, I'd recommend using Europacar, Hertz or Avis as they have desks at the airport. There are few other places that operate out of a unit 10 mins from the airport and it was a bit of a faff getting shuttled there, sorting out paperwork (which we had to input all our details again even though we had prebooked) and having to drop the car back at 4am for our 6.30am flight. We've hired a car 3 times in Iceland and still find the process a bit murky as there are a lot of different comparison sites and companies who are agents for different car hire companies but they seem to share a pool of cars!

The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of cooking utensils and in good condition. The beds are comfortable. Hot water supply and pressure are adequate. Free parking in front of the house.

Located 39 km from Reykjavík, Comfort and Rest offers accommodation in Sandgerdi. Comfort and Rest features views of the sea and is 8 km from Keflavík. It's quite difficult to describe how good was our stay. Position is excellent, less than 10 minutes ride to the airport and 1 minute from a gas station where to refill the car before drop off. The area is very quiet. Check in was zero-seconds since the exquisite owner was there for us (and a hot tub was already filled and waiting for us on the wooden patio under a starry night). The apartment is perfectly equipped for any need. Everything is clean. Lighting is good. Room temperature is perfect. Bathroom is very comfortable, beds too. This apartment makes you feel at home.

Just 25 km from the iconic Blue Lagoon, these cabins come with free high speed Wi-Fi, a furnished terrace and a hot tub. Hot tub, location, privacy, comfortable cabin. It was perfect for us and we would love to come back again. We met the host and she was super nice, friendly, etc.

The family-run Guesthouse 1x6 is in the old part of Keflavík, a 7-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. The hosts are incredible and always available for any help. the place itself is a constant surprise, with a private geothermal pool in the garden and limitless art expositions in any room. It faces the sea side and we can't recommend it enough. Wonderful!

The host was amazing, very attentive and helpful with all needs and accommodations.. The hot tub was an added plus and the sea view is amazing. The room was a little on the small side but very well kept and clean, looks just like the picture.. The room is also quite a way from all main attractions, it’s about a 45 min to an hour drive to downtown and most things..

Raven’s Bed & Breakfast is a converted traditional cow house which has been renovated into a unique guest house. The original wooden beams and certain decorative items remain from its past. Beautiful place and breakfast with lovely owner ,and tub was fabulous and so warm under the stars and northern lights Thankyou
