Excellent quiet location, comfortable beds, clean room, great breakfast and other hotel facilities (they do have an outdoor tub, but we didn't try it, maybe next time). Also we loved the little orangery where you can sit and have a snack and glance outside at the gorgeous Icelandic scenery. Should also be great for seeing the aurora. The hotel staff is great and provide you with excellent tips for your travels (we got a great tip on where to purchase real quality wool garments, thanks again!)

Lovely place to spend a beautiful holiday in Iceland. It’s on the ring road between Seljalandfoss and Skogafoss. Beautiful surroundings with a great view of the mountains and the lake. Nice place to spend a peaceful vacation. Rooms are excellent , large and comfortable. Equipped with all necessary amenities you need. Great view from the room and the terrace. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. They provide all the necessary practical information required for your trip. A great place to observe the northern lights on clear winter nights. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Welcome to Aurora Lodge Hotel, where adventure awaits! Our complex of 8 charming buildings sits right on the banks of the East Rangá River, just a stone's throw from the Icelandic Route 1 (Ring Road)... Amazing location with warm and friendly staff. Our room was comfortable with a great view. The hot tub overlooking the mountains was a perfect place to relax. But what really stood out was our dining experience! The cocktails and the dinner were incredible, beyond expectations.

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. Nice view from the room. Excellent breakfast
