Set 27 km from Hella and 12 km from Laugaland, Landhotel features a garden, bar and free WiFi. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. The staff was really kind and helpful. The receptionist who was there upon our arrival, shows us on the map what we can do because the weather conditions wasn’t good for the things that we have planed to do. The food in the restaurant was good and also the breakfast has many options to choose. The bed was comfortable and we have a huge window right across in order to see the sky. Till now it was the best hotel in Iceland!

It feels like our own home in Iceland. Location is perfect, the one thing is you have to go supermarket approximately 25-30 minutes but since you will be always in road you can make your shopping while you come back to house. Room has its own balcony and have a beautiful sightseeing. I definetly recommend the place

Great Restaurant- very good breakfast. Superb gourmet dinner!!! Hot bath tub with magnificent views. Lobby and bar - Cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend.

The family-owned Hótel Lækur is set on an Icelandic horse farm, between the Golden Circle and the south coast. Hella is 10 minutes’ drive away. It offers a sun terrace and a guest lounge. Very nice and cosy location off the beaten track. Stayed in the larger cabin, good for 3 but could have easily accommodated more people. Nice view to the river and sunset. Nice dinner and breakfast. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Lost a charging cable at a previous location and front desk were able to help. We definitely enjoyed staying and will come again another time !

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. The rooms were really nice and we were able to see the northern lights just outside. Perfect!
