Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). The host had it already ready for us and post dinner we all went in! We attempted to fit 4 people in but honestly it was only most comfortable with two so we rotated. We used the oven- brillant. The shower was good too and the bed was comfy!
