Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. The room was beautiful and the location could not be better.

This boutique hotel was exceptional. We rented the room with tub and sauna and it was perfect. Room was even larger than expected and the extras of bathrobe, Epson salts and slippers was a great touch. Breakfast was super, even eggs and bacon for those who like a hot breakfast along with all the usual continental and European pastries and focaccia. The music piped into our room was ultra relaxing too …only wish we’d arrived earlier or first day to enjoy it all more.

Fantastic and very unique hotel. Right in the heart and yet very peaceful. The room was quite big and had all the amenities. The unique old-style swimming pool is the best we have seen in a hotel. Breakfast was great, unique, and filling. All the complimentary experiences were designed with a lot of thought and detail.

Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Marera.
