The host was super friendly and gave us helpful maps and tips on what to see and where to eat in Matera. The room was small but very cute, comfy, and super clean. Breakfast was included, and there were also extra drinks like coffee, juice, milk, and water at the entrance. Would definitely recommend!

Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. We liked everything about this charming , beautiful place. The situation right in the heart of Sassi. It’s unique . Beautiful , cozy room. Wonderful friendly reception and the breakfast absolutely delicious. We would love to return. Thank ti everybody there

L'Hotel In Pietra offers unique rooms set in the Matera Sassi area, a UNESCO site. All rooms and suites have free Wi-Fi and a laptop is available on request. Breakfast is buffet style. Nice cave room. Very comfortable bed. Staff were helpful. Nice view in front of hotel. Good location, short walk from main square and parking garage.

The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. You are in the Sassi and centrally located. The owner, Giuseppe, and his wife, were the best! From the moment we registered online, he sent notes on Whatsapp to me telling us where to park, how to take the bus, directions to walk with pictures and instructions. All was very helpful. He got us dinner reservations at Pico and it was marvelous. I left my hat at Pico, and he arranged to get it with the owner of Pico…a great effort!!! Thank you Giuseppe for a great stay!

Perfect location minutes from centre. Garage parking directly opposite 10 euros per day. The accomodatuon itself is spotless and of high quality with everything you could possibly need. The lovely ladies who run / own the hotel despite language barrier could not have been more helpful or attentive. Well deserved 10 out of 10 for everything. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Marera.
