The hotel itself is a lovely old, wonderfully renovated palace with spectacular views of the mountains and set in a quiet but central location. The owners were exceedingly gracious and gave us wonderful suggestions for day hikes, and restaurants. The dining choices in Atina were outstanding with some of the most creative in authentic cooking, we experienced while in Italy. We're pretty experienced travelers, and this was definitely one of our favorite spots.

Special mention to Serena who showed us round the resort and made us feel very welcome.

Once a wool factory, Il Cavalier D'Arpino dates back to the 16th century. It is now a charming hotel with a spacious garden and wonderful views across the valley. It offers free parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. Rodolfo and Sonia was so nice kind and gentle. We dont have a car Sonia pick me up and my husband at the station and she drop us on the bus stop when we go back home
