As an interior designer I would be very picky with places I stay. And I can honestly say that this property is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The interior of the building is modern but yet classically Italian. The terrace has breathtaking views. We stayed in a suite at the front of the hotel and we didn’t hear a sound. The rooms are spacious, cool & calming.

We loved the breakfast too, which included a hot option of bacon and scrambled eggs, being able to sit out on the terrace. Special mention to Serena who showed us round the resort and made us feel very welcome.

Once a wool factory, Il Cavalier D'Arpino dates back to the 16th century. It is now a charming hotel with a spacious garden and wonderful views across the valley. It offers free parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. This is our third time staying here on our way south from Rome. The last time we were there was 10 years ago, but the hotel is still as wonderful. You feel like you are in a palace. The breakfast room, the park... are especially beautiful. The hotel staff are the nicest!
