Virdaumri is an oasis of calm and good vibes in tranquil, lush surroundings with an epic view of Etna. My room was modern, spotless, well-appointed and very comfortable, and most importantly very quiet. Breakfast was nice and the location is perfect for Etna and Riposto. By far the most pleasant aspect of the resort was the host - Lella and her family who are the loveliest people who go out of their way to make you feel at home. There are plenty of restaurants minutes drive away but again Lella went out of her way to make sure I was well fed with delicious deliveries of Italian food. Simply a fantastic experience and a credit to Sicily.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the stay feel effortless from start to finish. Overall, the property exceeded expectations in every way.

The property is located in a forest and perfect if you are searching for peace and calmness. It's also only a 15 min drive from Etna.

The owner of the villa was a friendly and helpful person. The location is just in front of the Acireale Train Station and is half an hour away from the city center where Piazza Duomo can be reached. The apartment had a combined kitchen and living room, a bathroom, one big bedroom, and another bedroom on a terrace. It was furnished with all necessities, spacious, and very well kept. It is ideal both for the winter and summer periods. In winter it feels very cozy and welcoming while for the summer period, there are two outdoor pools. I was in Acireale for the carnival nevertheless there was a tranquil atmosphere. A truly relaxing experience. Certainly, not my last experience in this villa but will be back for sure.
