HD is a very cosy place, with clean rooms and a beautiful view to the lake and the montains. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I wish to meet people like them everywhere. Prime location and wonderful hosts. Lina and Alessandro were so kind and welcoming, giving us recommendations and helping us with all our (many) questions. The decor and details were so charming. Lots of restaurants and famous villas close by, with various activities (motorboat, horseback, cooking classes, and more) that the hosts can assist you with. Also such a comfy bed! Would 100% come back!

We were very pleased with our stay at Foresteria Lago di Como. Everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had a beautiful view from the balcony. We enjoyed sitting there and drinking our wine in the evening. The location was good. There were buses to reach the center of Menaggio, but they were infrequent, so we chose to walk. It took around 20–25 minutes from the hotel. The walk itself was lovely, surrounded by the beautiful and peaceful Menaggio landscape. Wonderful breakfast! They had croissants, toast, fresh fruits, oats, granola, yogurt, and freshly prepared eggs — everything you could ask for! Many thanks to Foresteria for such a wonderful stay
