I am very sure that this hotel is the most comfortable in my journey. I would like to go this hotel again soon. The host is very friendly and welcoming, they made sure we are comfortable and help us if we needed anything. The rooms are clean and give you authentic Tuscany vibes, the breakfast was fresh and delicious. Overall grateful for the experience. Highly recommend it.

Locanda Poggioleone is in Pozzuolo, a 10-minute drive from Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. It is immersed in nature and offers a garden and an outdoor pool with hot tub. Instead of 2 nights we stayed 5 and based our Tuscan exploration from here as so wonderful! Big thanks to Suzy and Beatrice for their patience and extra help with sorting some things for us. You were wonderful! Michaela is a fantastic chef and recommend the smoked beef and sea bass and breakfasts were lovely. Lorenzo was a great sommelier who made great limoncello spritz! Amazing pool area and beautiful grounds with covered parking and beautiful views of the countryside. Will hopefully return one day from NZ

Relais Villa Monte Solare Wellness & SPA is a luxurious 4-star property with beautiful gardens and a panoramic spa with views of the hills. Restaurant Dolium serves specialities of Tuscany and Umbria.... I think I’ll rave about this stay forever. It’s the nicest hotel I have ever experienced. We were upgraded on check-in and received the most incredible room. It truly felt like a dream from start to finish. The staff were consistently warm and gracious, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast is phenomenal, with complimentary prosecco available if you wish. We had dinner here on two nights, and both meals were absolutely five-star. The spa is beautiful, and we loved spending time in the thermal suites. There are two swimming pools with breathtaking scenic views, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. Everything felt cinematic, as if I had stepped into a movie. My only regret is not booking the entire holiday here. I cannot wait to return.

Andrea and his whole family were exceptional hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed - Fabio surprised us with vegetables from the garden, and homemade jam was waiting for us in the apartment. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. We hardly needed AC as there were nets on the windows so we could keep them open. We could eat on the terrace. We enjoyed the clean swimming pool and jacuzzi. The whole property was very well maintained. Everything was even nicer than in the pictures. The location is a great starting point for visiting Lake Trasimeno, Castiglione del lago and other towns. If we could, we would rate the stay 11. Thank you Andrea, Fabio, Daniela, Rita and Ana. We will be back soon

This is by far the most exceptional hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were lovely, spacious and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and beautiful. The best thing about it however was the host, who was absolutely lovely and treated our children like her own. This is a great property for families because there is so much for kids to do.

Met us, provided us with information but were unobtrusive. Villa was lovely and perfect. Two separate apartments. The pool was fantastic. Great views over the lake in an evening.
