Beautiful surroundings, a stunning pool, and even the option of a private wine tasting. As wine producers, they also offer bottles directly in the fridge for purchase – a lovely touch! Super dog-friendly – our pup could freely roam around the whole property. A special thank you to the owner – incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely friendly. If you want to feel like you’ve stepped into a scene from a telenovela, this is the place to be. Highly recommended! 😄

Located 2 km from Lake Trasimeno, I Capricci Di Merion is an Art Nouveau building in the Umbrian countryside. Beautiful and convenient setting. Excellent restaurant with amazing local options. Great selection of wine and the spa services and indoor pool was incredible.

Locanda Poggioleone is in Pozzuolo, a 10-minute drive from Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. It is immersed in nature and offers a garden and an outdoor pool with hot tub. Very nice location and property, you can see attention to details, restaurant serves amazing local food. Possibility to charge electric car. Breakfast was amazing even though we were almost the only guests. Unfortunately we could not experience the swimming pool, as it was closed.

Relais Villa Monte Solare Wellness & SPA is a luxurious 4-star property with beautiful gardens and a panoramic spa with views of the hills. Restaurant Dolium serves specialities of Tuscany and Umbria.... I think I’ll rave about this stay forever. It’s the nicest hotel I have ever experienced. We were upgraded on check-in and received the most incredible room. It truly felt like a dream from start to finish. The staff were consistently warm and gracious, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast is phenomenal, with complimentary prosecco available if you wish. We had dinner here on two nights, and both meals were absolutely five-star. The spa is beautiful, and we loved spending time in the thermal suites. There are two swimming pools with breathtaking scenic views, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. Everything felt cinematic, as if I had stepped into a movie. My only regret is not booking the entire holiday here. I cannot wait to return.

The place is wonderfully peaceful, and the apartment is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring both Umbria and Tuscany. The pool and jacuzzi are great, and we especially enjoyed spending time with the farm animals—especially the ducks! The hosts are truly amazing and so welcoming; they make you feel like part of the family.

This is by far the most exceptional hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were lovely, spacious and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and beautiful. The best thing about it however was the host, who was absolutely lovely and treated our children like her own. This is a great property for families because there is so much for kids to do.

Met us, provided us with information but were unobtrusive. Villa was lovely and perfect. Two separate apartments. The pool was fantastic. Great views over the lake in an evening.
