The staff were excellent. I booked the stay for December instead of November by mistake so they were not expecting us when we arrived. Without any hesitation or fuss they quickly rearranged things and found us a spare room. The town in lovely and the facilities here great. We shopped for food and wine in the town them made ourselves a meal in the hotel kitchen area and used the fridge to keep our wine cold.

The hotel was exceptionally beautiful, a lot of attention on details and interior design. Also, the breakfast was great and diverse. There were fresh figs from their own tree :) The owner helped us with all questions and arranged transfer to the trainstation. Highly recommend.

The view over the infinity pool toward the coast is stunning, especially at sunset. The rooms were comfortable and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Offering an outdoor pool and a sun terrace, La Suite del Faro is located in Scalea, 1 km from the beach. Free WiFi access is available throughout. The accommodation was great, we spent a week here. The villa is gorgeous with an outdoor pool. I was charmed. All around everything beautifully landscaped. We had a room overlooking the garden. The room was very clean and they cleaned it every day. The bed had a pretty good mattress, 2 types of pillows(one thinner and one higher and harder,we had ours so I can't describe). Breakfast is served right in the villa. The choice is classic Italian(croasant, cake) and then eggs + bacon, fruit, ham, cheese, toast. To drink coffee, tea, juice. Everything is fresh +great service. I have nothing to complain about. I hope to come back here soon. Scalea is a historic town, so besides the beach and the sun you can also discover its historical charm. The town is rugged. Don't be afraid of gentle hills ( almost all towns in Italy are like this).🙂

The small family run hotel was a great place to stay. Highly recommended, easy to approach just 10 minutes off expressway E-45 in province of Calabria and next to Parco Nazionale dell Pollino. Nice comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast. Reasonably priced. Place surrounded by forest, slept very well.
