Thanks to our amazing hosts, this became the most authentic and memorable experience we had in Italy. Fabrizio was exceptionally kind and generous with his time, offering excellent recommendations for local restaurants and hidden nature spots that made our stay truly special. From visiting a local Parmigiano Reggiano producer to enjoying the best gelato, espresso, and stunning views of the region — everything felt real, local, and full of heart. We’re so grateful for the warmth and care we received here. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a true Italian countryside experience with the comfort of feeling at home.

Owner and staff are very friendly, recommended tons of places nearby to do and see. Great restaurant for dinner with amazing local wine. Tasty breakfast with everything you could ask for- eggs, ham, cheese etc. (nothing is charged extra!). All from local suppliers! Rustic feel, home-like atmosphere. Nothing fancy but you are in the middle of countryside. Our apartment was equipped with everything we needed to cook lunch (including condiments), plenty of towels (fyi: indoors use only, you need to bring own or pay extra for pool towels) and comfortable beds.

We thought this place was much nicer in person than it looked in the pictures. It is very spacious and unlike most places it is very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Perfect stay, delicious dinner, the most heavenly chantilly dessert I have ever eaten, abundant and fresh breakfast including eggs, pastries and cakes. Easy access from A1 and friendly staff. They even let us use Wifi in the lounge after checkout time. We often travel needing a good stopover near Parma. we will make Valdenza our hotel of choice on each trip. There was a large sports team of Polish teens and we had no noise problems. Highly recommend!
