It is less than a 10-minute drive from Trieste. We like this type of bed from wall to wall and shelf. it’s comfortable and unusual! It was good place to stay for one night on our trip from Montenegro to Portugal. We parked the car close to the entrance. The breakfast was fine. The restaurant for breakfast with sea view is very nice too. And of course the sea view from balcony is perfect at any weather.

Situated in Sistiana, 1.9 km from Caravella Beach, Locanda Gaudemus Boutique Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Located around 13 km from Miramare Castle, the hotel with free WiFi is also 20 km away from Trieste Train Station. Guests can use the spa and wellness centre with a sauna, and hot tub, as well as a bar. Wonderful family-run hotel. I felt very well looked after. And the food was delicious :)

We spent 3 nights at Casanova Bluelife in Trieste and overall had a great stay. The location is excellent – just a 3-minute walk from the train station and with a nice grocery store right at the bottom of the hill. The apartment itself is very modern and secure, with multiple keypad entry points and a front door that feels like opening a vault. The layout worked well for our group of 3 singles: two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main floor, and a third bedroom in a loft-style space upstairs with its own bathroom. Since the loft is open, it’s not 100% private, but it still feels separate. The loft level also features two terraces, one with a small hot tub (really only suited for 1–2 people at a time). On the main floor, the terrace has an outdoor dining table that was perfect for gathering, enjoying meals, and taking in the beautiful sunset views. The kitchen is minimally stocked with basic essentials, but note there is only an electric cooktop and microwave—no oven. We are big coffee drinkers and ended up buying a small coffee maker nearby (about €30), since the provided stovetop percolator was too small for us. There is also an electric kettle for hot water. Inside, the apartment is minimalist but comfortable, though there aren’t many indoor spaces to lounge together as a group aside from the outdoor dining area. The views, however, are incredible, and the location is very walkable (though do expect a short uphill climb from the station). Accessing the apartment can be a bit of a process, with several steps depending on whether you’re coming from the street or the parking garage, but once inside, it feels extremely secure. The host was responsive throughout, and we would definitely stay here again.

Boasting sea views, Encanto Agriturismo & Private SPA offers accommodation with balcony, around 2.9 km from Beach Castelreggio. It is situated 14 km from Miramare Castle and provides full-day security. The farm stay also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The apartment house is not on the farm - it is modern and gorgeous. But we were able to visit the owners’ “osmica” just up the street and see the property. The sea view from our terrace was wonderful - overlooking forests. The breakfast was UNBELIEVABLE- featuring their own products as well as nearby farms’ for things they don’t produce.

Offering a garden and garden view, Al bosco incantato is set in Trieste, 3.7 km from Trieste Train Station and 3.8 km from Piazza Unità d'Italia. It is located 4 km from San Giusto Castle and provides room service. The accommodation offers a hot tub, free WiFi and family rooms. A wonderful cosy room,well and beautiful furnished. Good bed.Very nice host.. helpful and positive. Not quite to the city center,but was easy to find a place to park. Nice garden and view.Very quiet. Breakfast -average.

You will find luggage storage space at the property. I recommend staying here to anyone looking for a very clean home with a lot of character. There's plenty of parking space in the private courtyard and a key-operated gate which gave me an extra feeling of security. The area is situated on a hill and is rather residential so you can get the feeling of living like a local in Trieste. The amenities are perfectly clean and very comfortable. Downtown is accessible in a few minutes by car, and so is the highway. The host Francesca is very friendly and helpful and I felt very welcome right away. If I happen to travel to Trieste I would like to stay here again.
