What a GREAT hotel! First of all, the entire staff is extremely welcoming, friendly and attentive. The hotel is amazing, with great views and located right across the road from the entrance to Petra, so extremely convenient! The breakfast is by far the best we tried in Jordan, it has everything! The room was spacious and the bathrooms as well. Everything is impecable clean. The pool and hot jacuzzi, and the whole rooftop area were also amazing and ideal after a long day walking around Petra. The gym has brand new equipment and literally everything you need for a good workout. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and would 100% chooses it again if I ever go back to Petra.

Just 100 metres from the entrance gate to Petra, this hotel features spacious rooms with flat-screen TVs. It also has a roof garden with a seasonal outdoor pool. Outstanding stay in every way: location, room comfort and quality & of course view, staff, food etc. A great stay!

The room with the mountain view is amazing - sunset from this place was maybe the most beautiful we've seen in Jordan.. There is a rooftop restaurant where people fight to take places next to window, while you can get it just for yourself, sitting in comfortable chair. very tasty breakfast. But this is not the best in this hotel. The lady supervisor is the nicest, the most organized person I've met in any hotel. Whatever we needed, one word and she took care of it. Confidence, control and positive energy. She could easily be head of any hotel in the world. Great stay, fully recommend

One of the best hotels i have ever been in.

Sunset Hotel is situated opposite the main entrance to Petra (3-minute walk away), in Wadi Mousa. It features free Wi-Fi in public areas and an outdoor restaurant. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast and dinner buffets were very complete, and it's actually a five-minute walk from the entrance to Petra and the bus terminal, which made it very convenient. Recommended.

My stay in Petra was truly exceptional thanks to this hotel! I was warmly welcomed by Zeyad, the manager, who went above and beyond to assist me before, during, and even after my stay. He helped me with everything from arranging transportation to finding a guide and sharing useful tips, his support and professionalism were absolutely outstanding. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect to relax after a full day exploring Petra. A special highlight is the rooftop pool, a wonderful place to unwind while enjoying the view. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Petra, you can book it with complete confidence. A big thank you to Zeyad and the whole team for making my stay unforgettable!

Very comfortable and clean room in a traditional style located in the Bedouin village less than 3 kilometers from Petra’s main entrance and 150 meters from the back entrance. The hosts, a lovely local family, were extremely nice and welcoming. They were happy to chat, gave us useful information and cooked delicious dinners for us when we came back from visiting the sites. It was a great pleasure to stay with them and we really enjoyed their company and warm hospitality.
