The room with the private bath looking at the river was amazing. We had an exceptional Japanese style accommodation. Breakfast and dinner were satisfying and delicious. The staff was very friendly. We had a great time at this onsen hotel.

The house is spacious and beautiful. Every need was addressed, they even left us a fresh apple juice in the fridge and a welcome note. Rooms were huge and the beds were really comfortable. The kids enjoyed playing with the toys 🧸 and to jump on the small trampoline outside.

The garden was beautiful and extremely well maintained. The room was comfy, and the outside hot spring was well presented. The food was very nice and they accommodated our specific dietary requirements. Dogs were very friendly and I enjoyed brushing them. Overall, very nice accommodation!!

The staff were friendly, and the location has lovely views across valleys.

Located within a 5-minute walk from JR Takasaki Train Station, Hotel 1-2-3 Takasaki offers accommodations with free wired internet access. Accidentially booked a smoking room. It was not a problem to change to a non-smoking room at the woman only floor. The floor was very woman friendly with free woman products (hairband, eye mask, comb etc) and a extensive assortment of badproducts. Breakfast was oriental style. There were free drinks on the second floor, but also vending machines.

Overall, this hotel is great value: good location (close to Mt Tanigawa), nice views from the rooms, really good food and free parking. The owner is really friendly as well and played the piano while we ate dinner. This hotel is literally half the price of the other hotels we stayed in during our trip to Japan, and it's of similar quality.
