Fantastic customer service. They helped us with local transportation and answered all of our questions. The property is perfect with its cleanliness and premium furniture.

A flat-screen TV , DVD player and Nintendo Wii, as well as a computer are featured in guestrooms. Some rooms do not have a bathroom, while shared bathrooms are available. Extras include slippers and free toiletries. Guests will also find 2 kashikiri (private use) baths at the property. In addition, dry cleaning and laundry services are provided free of charge. It was our 2nd stay at the Eternal Flame in two years and once again, we loved every minute. Arrival: Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed with a glass of prosecco, while our bags were brought up to the room. As two years ago, we felt very welcomed in a very peaceful environment at the Eternal Flame. Nao then arranged for pick up by the rental gear shop, so that we would be ready for the next morning. Breakfast: Again everyday there was a three-course breakfast. As two years ago I was very pleased that we had Eggs Benedict in the five days we stayed among French Toast, Toast and scrambled eggs/sausage, respectively. Due to being this time during the Lunar New Year, unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy the incredible dinner course. Hope that next time, we will be there a bit off-season. Dinner: Based on our experience two years ago, we arranged for dinner reservations (google>table check) beforehand. Nao is also helpful setting up reservations, but it remains a challenge when Hakuba and esp. Echoland is full of tourists. Ski: As before, there is the shuttle bus going to Goryu (Iimori and Hakuba 47) as well as Iwatake. For Goryu reduced price ski passes are organized by Nao, while for Iwatake you would have to purchase them online through the QR code provided. Bathroom: Shared facilities are well maintained and esp. the hot Onsen after a day of skiing was very welcome to relax. Laundry: Eternal Flame provided free laundry, which was very surprising, since I have not come any hotel so far, which would do it for free. Again top notch service. Room: Was rather functional, but we knew what to expect, mattresses have been very comfortably hard. Lounge: Provides coffee, tee, sweets and has comfortable sofas to simply chill out. Will surely stay again at Eternal Flame, when in Hakuba!

Situated in Hakuba in the Nagano region, with Happo-One Ski Resort and Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal nearby, Pension Belnina features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Amazing amenities (private onsen was the best), close proximity to great restaurants and bars (walking distance, but still peaceful and quiet at Belnina), delicious home cooked breakfast buffet, and the absolute kindest owner. The experience was very personable and we will definitely be back!

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Free WiFi is available at the entire property and guests can reserve a private open-air bath overlooking the forest. A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Forest views are available from the 2nd floor of the accommodation. Lovely place to stay on a quiet street in Hakuba a short walk to restaurants and shuttle for skiing. Owners are wonderful people. Extremely helpful and friendly. The private onsen is nice after a day on the slopes.

Three of us stayed here for 5 days. We had the best time! The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable with great facilities, including a storage area for all of our ski and snowboard gear. There’s also a bus station right down the street that takes you to Iwatake (which you can then transfer to another bus that takes you to every resort.) The best part were the owners — they were so kind and welcoming even though we did not speak Japanese. They cooked us breakfast and dinner and both were so delicious. The chalet has an outdoor fireplace and a hot tub. Lovely and cosy lodge close to the action in Hakuba. All details were perfect.
