The staff was so friendly and helpful, even with the language barrier. They really went beyond! Stayed in the single room, it was minimal and clean, with all needed. Was able to use the sauna and onsen, at no extra charge. The location is amazing, with an amazing view. The terrace view is breathtaking! However a little outside of town, so might be hard to get access to without a car/bicycle. The shared bathroom was extra clean, and the onsen was amazing, with several free amenities. If you're travelling alone, the single room is a great option!

Yumoto Ueyama Ryokan localiza-se em Himeji, a 15 km de Castelo Himeji e a 42 km de Omiya Hachiman Shrine. Outstanding service, all staff were amazing! The room was stunning, offering everything you could possibly need was at your fingertips. Would highly recommend spending the extra for a room with private onsen - it was heavenly.

Está localizado a 5 minutos de táxi da Estação Sannomiya e da Estação Motomachi. The price is high, but you can expect a lot. The hotel rooms were great. You could choose if you prefer to sleep in big comfy western beds or prefered a Japanese futon instead (there were two rooms, so enough space to get the futons out). Maybe prepare a bit in advance, so that you know what´s going on, because the English introduction at reception is a bit shorter than the Japanese one, but the staff is always really helpful and can answer your questions. Breakfast and diner were both included and were fantastic. The sushi cook in the evening was so helpful and we tried 2-3 different sort of fish we never had before. And all the other dishes were great, too. Don´t forget to stop in time, so that there is still room for dessert ;o) The onsen on the roof is wonderful. You have an excellent night view and can see the beautiful harbour area. There is an onsen for women and one for men. First there is a big room where you undress and put your clothes in little baskets. Then there is a shower room followed by a pool, a whirlpool and the lovely onsen. And if you want to spend around 200 Yen extra, don´t forget to visit the room with the massage chairs. They are amazing.

A 3-minute walk from JR Kinosaki-Onsen Station, Koyado Enn offers hot spring baths for private use, a café and a restaurant. Free WiFi is provided, and yukata robes are available at the reception. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Private bath easy acces. Room was cozy and the futon was the best one i have tried. The food inc in half-board was amazing.

Onishiya Suisyouen offers beautiful hot-spring baths, a sauna and Japanese garden beside the Maruyama River. Most amazing experience ever. Went with my husband and three daughters (8y, 11y and 13y) and we all loved it. First, the best Onsen in the village. Amazing staff, we felt very welcome. The children loved both the Onsen, free icecream in the lounge and the chocolate milk. Thank you!

Amarancia cottage hugging nature house localiza-se em Minamiawaji. Fornecendo um restaurante, o alojamento também dispõe de um terraço, assim como sauna e banheira de hidromassagem. Very neat little compound. Excellent restaurant. We had a room with a spa and it was very private and peaceful. After dinner we lit the outdoor fire and listened to the sounds of nature. It was a great experience. Again, the restaurant was incredible.
