This was truly the best accomodation we have ever stayed in and for sure the best during our 3 weeks travel across Japan. The accomodation basically consists of a two floored house (so much space is so rare in Japan), with a beautiful modern bathroom on ground level including a bathtube facing out to a wonderful zen garden. The main rooms are on the first floor with a massive living room, a tatami room and a bedroom with the biggest and most comfortable bed. All rooms were spotless clean, bathrobes and pyjamas were offered. The bedroom view and balcony to the zen garden outside created a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. One of the best things definitely was the breakfast which is provided in an extra breakfast room downstairs at the café (which you cannot here from the flat) - not only is the room beautiful and very special but the breakfast itself was absolutely delicious: every day different sorts of freshly baked bread, incredibel pastries (so pretty!), fresh fruit and vegetables created in the most delicious and delicate way. We couldnt have asked or wished for more. On top of all this is Ryoko as lovely, welcoming and very thoughtful and caring host (pick up service from the train station, extra blankets unasked when the weather turned colder). This accomodation made our trip to Kanazawa extra special and unforgettable!

Located a 5-minute drive from JR Kanazawa Station, Ryokan Yamamuro offers Japanese-style guestrooms with free WiFi. Omicho Market and Kanazawa Castle Park can both be reached with a 5-minute walk. My friend and I were thoroughly impressed by this ryokan run by Bungo and his mother. It was a traditional building and the rooms were in traditional style, but the facilities were up-to-date and always clean. With Bungo's recommendation of cafe and restaurants, given through a google map list, we had a great time in Kanazawa.

The onsen is a luxury to experience in front of the beautiful scenaries of the mountains and river. Walking out in the morning seeing chicken will melt your heart

He continued to ensure that we were able to make reservations for dinner, or book an experience with his help. He is the pinnacle of hospitality and we are so honored to have stayed at this beautiful place.
