Hakone Kowakien Tenyu åbnede i april 2017 og byder på værelser i japansk stil med tatami-gulv, udendørs bad eller udendørs varmt kildebad i Shigaraki-keramik. We have visited 3 times and it always is a wonderful treat. Great baths, great breakfast, lovely room. Warm recommendation for couples.

Hotel Morinokaze Hakone Sengokuhara ligger i Hakone, 12 km fra Hakone-Yumoto Station, og har en have, en terrasse og en bar samt gratis privat parkering. Amazing value for 2 top tier multiple course meals per day, lovely and quiet baths, and a great room. Friendly staff showed us around and the rules and accommodations were all very sensible. We were set up to have a relaxing time. The meals alone were worth the booking cost. I look forward to returning.

SAKE Kura Hotel 川崎宿 ligger i Kawasaki, 5,3 km fra Omori Hachiman Shrine. Her er en bar og værelser med aircondition. This has to be one of my favorite hotel stays ever. I just loved hanging out in the relaxing lounge on the ground floor and enjoying the selection of sake. And the room! Incredibly spacious and comfortable- actually it’s a suite. Awesome value and a ten minute walk to the train station.

WeBase Kamakura is a resort hotel and restaurant in the ancient capital of Kamakura, one minute from the Shonan sea and one hour from the city. Highly recommend. Just 100m to the beach and lots of food options during summer with pop up bats and restaurants.

Set in Hakone’s natural beauty, Gora Kadan is located a 5-minute walk from Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Line. Guests can leisurely soak in the hot spring bath, relax with a massage treatment. I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The staff were very friendly and explained everything clearly, and I even received a lovely photo keepsake in kimono. I booked an in-room shiatsu massage and acupuncture. Absolutely amazing. The traditional Japanese breakfast and the kaiseki dinner were truly exceptional, Michelin-level quality that exceeded my expectations. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer than one night. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Surrounded by nature in Hakone, the Senkyoro Ryokan boasts a terrace and an open-air hot spring overlooking the mountains. Free WiFi is available in the lobby area. The service was wonderful, the food was amazing (we gave them a hard time with us eating Kosher and no raw fish) - and there were so many dishes!! The presentation was stunning. The Onsen was fabulous!! The room was spacious and lovely, and the location is wonderful - a short bus ride to Ashi Lake! The bus stop is just by the Ryokan, and there was a Lawson with a 5 mineut walk. Loved every mineut!

Stylishly decorated with Japanese papers and chic furnishings, Yushintei boasts natural hot spring baths and hot tubs. Made you feel welcome, pleasant staff, explained all the questions we had. Patient and pleasant - felt like you were family.
