Composed of 2 buildings, The Okura Tokyo boasts a garden and bar. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and room service, along with free WiFi. Everything was perfect. Room layout was great. Wonderful view. The pool was also fantastic. Breakfast was also very good, I would say among some of the best I've had.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. It was perfect - the massage chair, the hot spring bath on the balcony, and the free ice cream vending machines!

Hakone Suimeiso is located a 3-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station and a 15-minute walk from Sounji Temple. It offers public hot-spring baths, free parking on site and free Wi-Fi access. The breakfast and the dinner courses are included, and it was really delicious. Also, the open-air bath was really impressive. I really want to visit here again.

A lovely and large traditional yet modernised family home, and in a great location for exploring the delights of Lake Ashi... with peerless Mount Fuji views just a few metres away!! The property could easily accommodate a family or small group and is great value, therefore. Don't hesitate with this one, as you won't be disappointed! The only downside is that the local eateries when we visited (early April) close relatively early, though you can stock the fridge etc and you have all the implements you need to cook and eat. Oh yes, I nearly forgot the natural and private hot spring bath - a great bonus!!! A very comfortable and relaxing stay in a quiet and small residential area with a helpful and thoughtful owner.

They answered any questions we had, like how to use the washing machine. When we needed our trash emptied or more toilet paper etc, our requests were answered promptly.
