The room is amazing and the bed is super comfortable. Best of all is their breakfast - high quality too! I will chose to stay here again if I am back in Kyoto. A little tip - Just take a taxi from the train station to add on to the comfort...costs about a thousand yen.

Patina Osaka offers 5-star accommodation with a hot tub. Everything about the stay was perfect, except that at checkout I discovered the actual price was ¥50,000 higher than what I booked on Booking.com. After checking the bill, it turned out to be a so-called ‘breakfast service fee.’ It was quite unexpected and a bit hard to understand

The beautiful decor, authentic experience with the irori bbq made in front of you was incredible. Everything was delicious, with strong attention to detail giving you a humble luxury that feels typically Japanese. The room was simply gorgeous and the bed incredibly comfortable. The complementary items (late night soba, stocked fridge) made it even more special and intentional.
