We feel lucky we found an affordable hotel in Miyajima. We were right by the center so we could stop by any time. The hosts were very friendly and we felt welcomed. The room was very comfortable, with plenty of space. The bathroom was quite small but clean, so this was not a problem for us. They offered recommendations for nearby restaurants and provided a guide of the island which was very helpful.

Our room was spacious and very authentic Japanese while also being very comfortable. The view over the bay was amazing. The dining experience was unforgettable and our dietary requirements (vegetarian) were perfectly catered too. The private bath was also a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even by Japanese standards. Overall, we were sad that we only booked one night here.

The location was exceptional and our room on the 4th floor was very spacious and light with an amazing view of the shrine. The private Onsen was ok though I’m am still not clear on whether it was just a hot bath or whether it had any healing salts in it. The pick up and drop up service is good though we had some confusion about our collection time. The staff were helpful and, as always in Japan, polite.

Big nice traditional feeling room. The room has more space than what one knows what to do with. The hotel also has a public bath. If a big traditional room with futons is what you are looking for then this hotel delivers! We only stayed for one night, and this is a nice hotel at Miyajima and for us it did not need anything extra.

Delicious food was served for dinner and breakfast. We had a big apartment on the top floor with an amazing relaxing bathtub, a great view of the famous tori, and a beautiful living and sleeping room. We even booked 30 min private hot tub.

Small, brand new, cozy ryokan. While keeping the beauty of a ryokan (small welcome sweet, tea, yukata, bath kit, etc.), this facility primarily for foreign tourists and makes efforts for their comfort. It's charming and very well caters to the global tourists' needs. - Goemon baths are very nice for the comfort of individual/family use, while keeping the traditional bath style. - Little shared space to eat, relax, chat is very handy.

Beautifully decorated guest house complete with a huge lounge area where you can watch tv, play board games, and even play the piano or guitar. The well-equipped kitchen is also stocked with beer, drinks and cup noodles that you can purchase. Very spacious traditional Japanese room with tatami beddings. We enjoyed the view from our room and also the private hot bath facility within the guest house. The manager (I think his name is Junior) is really nice, patient and polite.
