We stayed in about 5 and this one took the cake. The views were spectacular, the breakfast had a wider variety and was delicious, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind and the scenery was so peaceful. It was a true vacation. The room was clean and they provided many free services as well. Hands down the best hotel I’ve been to so far. I will be returning again soon and will recommend this hotel to everyone I know who is travelling to Japan.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. The staff is extremely polite, calm and knowledgeable. They are willing to help with everything. They know some English so nothing is a problem for foreigners. The foot bath on the roof is free and amazing with epic Mt. Fuji view. Hotel offers a variety of services, from massages to 3 private epic ryokans and an superb all you can eat breakfast

The access to the BBQs was the best part - we bought some Hida beef from the local butcher to cook on the outdoor BBQ and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Would book this place again over a hotel any day

Just a short walk away from Kawaguchiko station, through a nice neighbourhood. One of the best accommodation choice I made during my trip.

Amazing Japanese-style hotel, just 5 minutes walk from Lake Yamanakako. Great for catching the sunrise. Staff were super friendly and even drove us to and from the nearby onsen. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Highly recommended!
