The staff are all awesome and they care deeply about the Forest Lodge and their guest experience! The rooms are wonderful, the common areas are super comfortable, with an updated but traditional feel. Beautiful drying room and tuning area in the basement, and everyone is there to ski/ride so you'll get solid tips. They're happy to give you a lift to/from the resort if you don't have a car. The view from the private onsen was really wonderful. Recommended in Myoko!

If you’re looking for an easy going vibe and the lowdown on the very best places to ski or board, look no further than Kitsune. Dave and Lisa are so easy to deal with and made us feel so welcome that we turned our 2 day trip into 7! They made our trip so convenient from picking us up and shuttling us to/from skiing and the train station, to booking us suppers at the best restaurants, spas and onsens and day trips. Do yourself a favour and stay here, you will not regret it!

Morino Lodge - Myoko ligger i Myoko, 33 km fra Zenkō-ji-templet og 35 km fra Nagano Station. Her er gratis wi-fi, aircondition, en restaurant og en bar. The staff are awesome, make you feel at home and the entire vibe of the place is really relaxed. Big shout out to Dougie and the whole crew (sorry I didn't get everyone's names but they all remembered mine =)). The bartenders make great drinks, the drinks are priced really well (it's always happy hour), and the breakfast is solid every morning. The other facilities here are great for skiers/boarders. The dry room and waxing stations have everything and plenty of room for many guests. And a soak in their onsen was great every evening after ripping the slopes.

Nice hotel in the mountains with very hot onsen. The owner is very kind and supportive. He picked us at the station because we didn’t have a car. This is a remote location so coming with a car sure is easier. Dinner was excellent and a lot to eat. Room was Japanese style, it was big, with large windows to see the trees in the forest. Very cozy living area with a lot of books and other things to see.
