We arrived at the hotel on the complimentary shuttle bus from Gotemba which was super easy to arrange over email. We had a Fuji view from our room which stunning when it wasn't raining. The onsen was perfect especially the outdoor area that looks over Fiji. The staff were so attentive and professional and helped with my golf booking at the club round the corner. The breakfast was amazing and the Japanese restaurant, Robata Oyama, was stunning and one of the best dining experiences I've had.

Bousui - really magnificent ryokan hotel which takes special place in my wife’s and mine hearts😄! Room was very big, all over traditionally designed, very atmospheric and comfortable! Hot spring baths were amazing too: luxurious, very comfortable and with beautiful sea views! Premium gazebo was especially great! Really worth it! Employee, who helped us in room was very attentive, helpful and made all we could need to take all the best from our staying! Special thanks for pleasant conversations and tons of very interesting information! You made our staying unforgettable! Additionally to traditional breakfast, we asked for Kaiseki dinner - it was third Kaiseki we got, and truly, the most delicious and impressive! Fish was as fresh as it is possible, serving was full of beautiful and very interesting details! Last, but not least part of our rest was massage in award winning GECCA SPA: to be honest, Suzune gave me greatest massage I ever got! She was so attentive and diligent, made message with so masterpiece, that I’ve got extreme pleasure and relief! More over, it was first time when I feel, that therapist don’t just do it work, but really cares of me!🙏🏻 Btw, my wife never liked massages, but even she was really impressed by Suzune’s work! They picked me up at the station, and gave me a lift to the shop. I had a problem with my suite case, and they helped me to solve it. The room was very clean and comfortable. And there is a private onsen with lots of beautiful flowers. I love this place. Very peaceful. Definitely return here again.

Situated just a 2-minute walk from Shirahama Beach in Shimoda, Beach Side Inn Shirahama is cosy friendly accommodation with warm wooden flooring and furnishings. The private onsen was so clean and good to have. The rooms were spacious. The best part was the staff, very polite and helpful.

The property is away from the noisy town, with a lot of nature around. The owners are awesome and really chill, Hana picked us up at the train station and even offered us to take us to the supermarket before going to the house. The house is extra clean, well equipped and super comfy, you could see Fuji from the window. The e-bikes were a must, it let us move around on our own and get to know a lot of fujinomiya, we even crossed paths with wild Tunakis. We definitely had a great time
