Everything was fantastic. The room, the service, the location. In fact, the service from every staff we encountered was outstanding even though they didn’t speak English. They used their phones to translate every encounter and totally made sure they got us what we needed. The rooms were very comfortable and the same floor private onsen was very comfortable and well equipped. Little touches like free Haagen Dazs ice cream just added to the entire experience. Location is also just down the road from the UNESCO Heritage Temples and Shrines of Nikkō. Beautiful tree lined road too.

Yuriko went above and beyond for us, offering rides, luggage storage, and even a meal we hadn’t booked. We felt as if we’d been welcomed into a home—as, indeed, we had.

They even welcomed us with fresh fruits and premium A5 wagyu, which was such a lovely surprise. The BBQ setup had everything we could possibly need from charcoal and safety gloves to multiple types of tongs. The jacuzzi instructions were easy to follow, and the cute bath bombs made the experience extra relaxing. The view was stunning, and the location was very convenient just a short drive from Shinkyo Bridge and other main attractions in Nikko. Truly the best villa I've ever stayed at!

Everything you need for a weekend trip to Nikko is provided and the beds are outstandingly comfortable! Also the surrounding is so quiet, we slept very well. It is also very close to the stations which is convenient.
