We stayed just one night at Hiro's place and we had an amazing experience! The house is lovely in a very traditional Japanese style, and there's a small private onsen too! Hiro really made us feel welcome in his home, and greeted us with lots of kindness. The garden has a lovely pond and the little dog is so sweet! I really recommend Hiro place for an authentic and lovely experience in Japan. Hope we can come back again in the future. Thank you Hiro!

The location, deep in the mountain wilderness, is superb. Great hiking. The facility is beautiful. The meals are superb. The staff are lovely. The nicest onsen we've seen and there are some mixed bathing areas which is great for couples. If you are prepared to travel there (we travelled from Kyoto which was a long day of trains and buses) you will not be disappointed.

A wonderfully authentic traditional ryokan with spacious, comfortable rooms and beautiful river views. The public onsen was perfect—hot, clean, and peaceful with great natural scenery. Dinner was a delightful kaiseki experience with impressive presentation and thoughtful local dishes. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, making the stay truly special. The setting with a charming rope suspension bridge adds to the unique atmosphere. A perfect getaway for onsen lovers seeking relaxation with excellent hospitality. Highly recommended. Other games include Uno, cards, and the tumbling tower. Extra mattresses and blankets are available. Should be quiet after 9 pm. Highly recommended to everyone, especially groups with kids.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and fully equipped with thoughtful touches. They even welcomed us with fresh fruits and premium A5 wagyu, which was such a lovely surprise. The BBQ setup had everything we could possibly need from charcoal and safety gloves to multiple types of tongs. The jacuzzi instructions were easy to follow, and the cute bath bombs made the experience extra relaxing. The view was stunning, and the location was very convenient just a short drive from Shinkyo Bridge and other main attractions in Nikko. Truly the best villa I've ever stayed at!

The food was exceptional, such an experience really recommended to book the dinner plan. Very not touristic in the best way, hart to find in Japan.
