K's House Ito Onsen - Historical Ryokan Hostel ligger i Shizuoka i en 100 år gammelt fredet hus, blot 7 minutters gang fra JR Ito Station. The location was perfect for us. Staff are very helpful. Amazing Ramen place the other side of the bridge. Best in Ito.

From being picked up from the Station, until we departed this was an exceptional place to stay. An full apartment sized room, a soak in one of the two hot springs, two western-style breakfasts, our favorite hotel on a 15 hotel tour of japan. Front of house and chef were both great.

We have never experienced this kind of luxury in our lives….. this place and environment totally blew our minds! We had te luxury to stay in the villa, and exceeded all our expectations. The views, the pool, the sauna, the hotspring tub, the fireplace, the BBQ… it was more than enough to really end our holiday totally relaxed! We were supposed to go to Tokyo the last 3 days of our holiday, but we where glad that we canceled that, and went to Shikuoka instead! The falls and wasabi fields and hikes nearby were great excursions, and then come back to the villa was a real dream! Also there were no other guests, so we had the whole place for ourselves…. THE MACHIYA HOTEL TAKAYAMA ligger i Takayama, 7 minutters gang fra Takayama Station. Her er concierge-tjeneste, en have, et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis wi-fi overalt. The hotel is wonderful, the lounge includes a buffet and very cozy spaces to read and relax. There is the possibility to book a private onsen (for an extra fee). The room was clean, spacious, fully equipped and in full japanese style. We highly recommend staying here. Plus, the staff was extremely helpful and kind!

花緑里-Hanamidori-乙原のやど 岐阜下呂温泉郡上飛騨金山湖畔リゾート ligger i Gujo, kun 19 km fra Gero Station. Her er en terrasse, direkte adgang til pisterne og roomservice. Amazing host!! Recommended for perfect experience living in Japanese style homes 🏠 with scenic views of mountains and river. Soothing and relaxing ☺️ Kids loved it👍

ペンション ラリー ligger i Kawazu, 35 km fra Shuzenji-templet og 44 km fra Darumayama. Her er en tennisbane og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. What a gem! We arrived at Kawazu station and Kenji (?) was there to meet us. When we arrived at the property he took our bags up for us and explained all we needed to know. I think we had an upgrade because the room seemed bigger than the one I booked. The room hadn’t been made up yet as we arrived well before check in. We decided to go and do the 7 waterfalls walk and our host was so kind to drive us there. He explained how to get back on the bus and how much it would be. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We ended the afternoon by using the hot tub which was great. Bathroom and toilets were spotless. Outside the rooms there is boiling water, coffee making facilities, microwave and a wee stove and sink. There is also a sink for washing your face and cleaning your teeth. Be aware there is nowhere to eat close to the hotel. We were aware of this and brought food in with us. We found a tiny basic bakery just down the road and we bought a couple of flapjack type things for breakfast. This property is such good value and our host was kind and friendly. We have been in Japan for a month and this is one of our best stays. Loved it and would certainly recommend. Excellent value.
