El Ryokan Hostel K's House ocupa un edificio de 100 años de antigüedad declarado bien cultural tangible situado en Shizuoka, a 7 minutos a pie de la estación de trenes JR Ito. It was very nice and also liked the onsen a lot!

さかのみち-sakanomichi se encuentra en Nakatsugawa y dispone de salón de uso común, restaurante, bar y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. I'm afraid my words will not be enough to express how much I loved my stay here. Kenさん and Yukiさん were extremely welcoming. I enjoyed my conversations with them, learning about Magome-juku, umeshu, and many other things despite my very lacking Japanese skills. When it was time for me to leave and embark on my hike to Tsumago-juku, they ran after me to give me a bottle of iced water to help me with the summer heat. I almost teared up from their kindness. I was on a solo trip for my birthday and they gave me the most memorable moment of my trip. Other things to note about this guesthouse: Room: I'm not sure about the other rooms but I secured the best one. It had an amazing view of Magome-juku. There is only a futon but it was very comfortable. The room is air-conditioned and although not sound-proof, Magome is quiet and you can hear the peaceful sounds of water flowing through the canals at night. Shared spaces: The shared spaces include the dining area, living area, toilets, showers, and an indoor bath. There is also a laundry area which you can use for a small fee (about 500 yen if I'm not mistaken). Reception is not 24/7 and the lights out is at 10pm I think. The shared spaces are not only clean, but they're also beautifully designed! Lots of dried flowers as decoration. Meals: You can opt to have dinner and breakfast here again for a small fee. Dinner is Indian curry and let me just say-- it was delicious! I had the spicy chicken keema, although personally I wish it was a bit spicier. The homemade yogurt was simply amazing. Breakfast is a simple spread of eggs, bread, yogurt, cereals, a variety of fruits, and drinks such as homemade juice and coffee from the coffee shop down the street. This was again very good and I enjoyed it more than I expected. I feel like Magome is a one-time destination because of its size, but I definitely want to come back and stay at sakanomichi again!

リゾートホテル伊東山荘-Toki- está en Ito, a 30 km de Templo Shuzenji, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Great location for a short getaway. The facilities are great; they have everything you need. Highly recommended.

横川温泉湯殿ととのゆ está en Shimoda, a 33 km de Cabo Koibito Misaki, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. The location was perfect for getting away from the busy streets of Tokyo, though I highly recommend renting a (small!) car to get here, as it is tucked away from public trsnsportation routes. Our room was clean, surprisingly well equipped and comfortable. Service was spot on, communication with our host was easy and quick. We never saw any of the staff though, which made the quality of service just that much more impressive. We were the only guests staying here at the time, so we had all facilities to ourselves (an introvert's dream). There were plenty of instructions in english for all the general how-tos, check-in and check-out was easy using the machine. Prepare to face some bugs around the area, we had a few interesting encounters with moths by the entrance. The room itself was equipped with bugspray and deterrents, though we didn't need them as our room was perfectly wildlife free. The bug screen in the private onsen kept the bugs at bay, allowing us to bathe and sleep while enjoying the sounds and smells of the surrounding nature!

海好きな大人の隠れ家下田ハウス se encuentra en Shimoda, a 39 km de Cabo Koibito Misaki, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. It was such a nice and relaxing place to be. I stayed there during tsunami warning so I spent almost my whole two days there. The Onsen near the guesthouse is marvellous, and we did a sauna session at one evening as well. We've had dinner together and on the first evening he offered us sashimi, because he's been out fishing and caught a nice one. Loved to practise my japanese skills - thank you for everything!

TIAD, Autograph Collection se encuentra en Nagoya, a 11 min a pie de Oasis 21, y ofrece alojamiento con terraza, parking privado y bar. Exceptional ! We loved the size and confort of the room. The bathroom was huge, staff were kind, available and willing to do anything for us. The food was also amazing, from restaurant to room service and breakfast ! Finally, the infinity pool is gorgeous ! With an amazing view on the city

Fuji Speedway Hotel, in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt está en Oyama, a 27 km de Parque de atracciones Fuji-Q Highland, y dispone de alojamiento con centro de fitness, parking privado gratis, terraza... El hotel en general, era hermoso, la habitación era grande, espaciosa y muy cómoda. Nos recibieron como reyes. Las personas que trabajaban alli eran muy serviciales y en todo momento fueron gentiles.

花緑里-Hanamidori-乙原のやど 岐阜下呂温泉郡上飛騨金山湖畔リゾート está a solo 19 km de Gero Station y ofrece alojamiento en Gujō con terraza y acceso a pie de pista, además de servicio de habitaciones. Super lovely host with a wonderful location!

ペンション ラリー está en Kawazu, a 35 km de Templo Shuzenji y a 44 km de Monte Daruma. Ofrece alojamiento con pista de tenis y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento, además de parking privado gratis. What a gem! We arrived at Kawazu station and Kenji (?) was there to meet us. When we arrived at the property he took our bags up for us and explained all we needed to know. I think we had an upgrade because the room seemed bigger than the one I booked. The room hadn’t been made up yet as we arrived well before check in. We decided to go and do the 7 waterfalls walk and our host was so kind to drive us there. He explained how to get back on the bus and how much it would be. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We ended the afternoon by using the hot tub which was great. Bathroom and toilets were spotless. Outside the rooms there is boiling water, coffee making facilities, microwave and a wee stove and sink. There is also a sink for washing your face and cleaning your teeth. Be aware there is nowhere to eat close to the hotel. We were aware of this and brought food in with us. We found a tiny basic bakery just down the road and we bought a couple of flapjack type things for breakfast. This property is such good value and our host was kind and friendly. We have been in Japan for a month and this is one of our best stays. Loved it and would certainly recommend. Excellent value.
