The unexpected tea ceremony performed by the owner as greeting became a big highlight of the entire trip. Also I can't express enough how wonderful and helpful a person the owner lady was! this stay will remain in my memory for a very long time, not only because of how cool and unusual the place itself was.

This property is spotlessly clean and in an extremely good location. Matsuda-san took the effort to pick us up from Toyama train station and even offered to send us back to the train station on our day of departure to Tokyo. The size of the house in Japan is second to none, and there are lots of space for a family up to 8 even. The house is fully equipped with ALL the essentials, including not one but two washing machines with built in dryer as well. The bath tub inside the bathroom is probably one of the biggest I have had in Japan thus far. I will highly recommended this beautiful house if you are planning to visit Toyama.

Excellent choice for accommodation in Toyama. Very close to the station and even in wet weather it was close to the underpass. Staff were so lovely and obliging. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The staff was super nice. Although some of them were not good in English they made huge efforts to communicate and all was for the best including some nice expirience ;-). The dinner was impressive!!
