Our experience with this accommodation was absolutely amazing. From the very first moment, the hosts charmed us with their incredible kindness and friendly approach. They even organized a tour of the sights in Anuradhapura for us, which was an unforgettable experience. The accommodation itself was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. I liked very much the modern design. Breakfasts were perfect, with fresh fruit every day and delicious dishes. We felt right at home here, and thanks to that, we take away beautiful memories. Thank you for everything! We would love to come back and can only highly recommend this place. 😊

We literally had a hornbill perched in the tree outside our balcony when we checked in to our room... loved that it's close enough to town but nestled inside a lush green jungle. The shower brings the outdoors in without creepy crawlies getting in your way in the room. Excellent balance of jungle and key modern necessities. Great breakfast and incredibly attentive staff. Clean and neat. Fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of nature. Close to Minneriya.

He was also genuinely concerned for our safety throughout our stay: while Sri Lanka is a very safe country, his attentiveness was still much appreciated. The food cooked by his wife was amazing—made with quality ingredients, prepared beautifully, and full of bold, authentic flavor. Easily one of the top three meals we had in Sri Lanka. If you're planning a trip to Anuradhapura or Mihintale to explore the sacred Buddhist sites, and you're looking for something authentic and off the tourist trail, stay in Mihintale. It's rich with temples and spiritual atmosphere. Stay at Janaka’s place, ask him for advice, and you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic hotel with excellent staff and the best location in town! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. Can’t wait to come back
