I had to book this hotel last minute and the receptionist parvathy was really helpful and friendly, she was always smiling and helping no matter what you need.

There is a private bathroom with walk-in shower in some units, along with bathrobes, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the homestay, each unit comes with bed linen and towels. Beautifully designed property integrated with nature and the lush garden, hosts were extremely gracious and helpful. Ate dinner and breakfast there also and both were great!

I loved staying at this beautiful, proud, authentic and uncompromising Sri Lankan family home come hotel, finished as it was to the highest of standards and so very tastefully decorated, all risen up from the once lakeside bank. I was greeted by my courteous hosts on arrival, respectful of my long journey from the UK, and made to feel welcomed and comfortable right away. My accommodation was as described and expected; it was immaculate (cleaned twice during my stay of three nights) and more than adequate for my needs. The food was delicious; although breakfast was lovely, my evening meals have been the best I have had here so far, being especially well cooked and prepared, further enhancing my first-time-in-Sri Lanka experience. The hosts arranged local tuc tucs and drivers for me, usually at short notice, and we're always keen to help out, particularly with timings on my leaving day. I said that if I came to Sri Lanka again I would stay here again and I meant it. Thank you all for the quality of all of your services and your thoughtfulness throughout my stay.

We had a nice time interacting with him and his staff. * Beautiful home - The interiors are nicely decorated and the stay is spacious. Our room was neat too with a big glass view at the back. * Breakfast - Sumptuous meal and friendly staff. Good portions, freshly prepared and served with a smile. Quite healthy too! * Location - Posh area, not chaotic or noisy. Can recommend taking a stroll in the mornings or evenings. * Host - Had a few nice chats with him and he even helped provide us with an office room so that we could finish up the formalities for a self drive car we had rented

Service and food were exceptional on the houseboat. The rooms were luxurious.

From the minute we entered, to the minute we departed to the airport, Mr Pradeep ensured we were comfortable at the stay. The apartment felt like home. It had everything we needed from kitchen cutleries, utensils to towels. All rooms were extremely clean and it was very spacious to be accomodated with a toddler. The best part of the stay was the Supervisor at the guard post! We will dearly miss him and will always remember his warm welcomes & the little chats we had. ❤️
