Where do I begin to describe paradise? I am so glad I booked into Leopard Reach as my base for the Yala National Park because I had a truly unforgettable taste of luxury in the jungle. I loved it so much, I stayed two nights. This is a truly special place, with only a few tent-lodges. In fact, I was the only guest on the property, and was treated like a queen. The interior of my room was top quality, with all amenities. And the private mini pool on the terrace was extremely welcome. On both nights I had an exceptional dinner; the first night consisted of a Sri Lankan curry with so many lovely dishes, and the second was an al fresco BBQ, prepared just for me. Breakfast was served on my private terrace. I cannot speak highly enough of Fonseka, the General Manager (the quintessential host) and his trusty team of Randika (what a great guy), Lakruwan (who makes the place run like clockwork) and Kasun (the Chef). Thanks a million.

Wonderful place with the most pleasant hostess. Nice property with a swimming pool, home restaurant, and a unique atmosphere surrounded by nature. About 10 minutes on foot to the paradise beach—a perfect spot for relaxation and enjoying a great time. Very helpful and friendly family. Thanks for everything ❤️

Lake view nest encontra-se a 12 minutos a pé de Goyambokka Beach e dispõe de um jardim, um terraço e acomodações com ar condicionado, varanda e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. Most of all we had a great time due to the owners, Randima and Lakmini, they are so accommodating and friendly and really made the whole experience of staying in their home such wonderful one. They are both interesting people who are easy to talk with and gave us an insight into Sri Lankan life, politics, food, fauna and so much more! They told us of local events and parades happening, helped with logistics, and assisted us on so many occasions; they truly went above & beyond. Secondly the balcony is superb - it exceeded our expectations and although the lake is small it is brimming with wildlife and you get a great view of it all from the balcony (which is right outside the room). This was like a wildlife safari all in itself! If you’re into bird spotting, this place is a must 🦜 The room was truly huge, clean, spacious, the bed comfy. It is near enough to the main road for easy access but not noisy at all and you and can’t see the main road, while the walk up the track to the house in the dark is lit by fireflies. There are several shops and a good restaurant on the road, and the bus stop is very close for getting to the nearby towns, villages and beach stops.

Moonrise villa localiza-se em Tangalle, a 6 minutos a pé de Rekawa Beach, e fornece acomodações com bicicletas gratuitas, estacionamento privado gratuito, uma piscina exterior e um jardim. This location makes it hard to leave it for something else. Amazing place for couples. Everything about this place is awesome. The included breakfast is great as well. Turtle beach is 5min by a scooter that you can rent at the villa.

Out of the 10 places we stayed at during our trip across Sri Lanka, Four Chalets Yala was by far the most wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and cool towels – such a thoughtful touch after a long journey. The two hosts – a lovely lady at reception and a gentleman who looked after us – were exceptional. Unfortunately, we forgot to ask their names, but their professionalism and genuine warmth left a lasting impression. The other staff members were also great. What we truly appreciated was that we never once felt pressured into extra services or reviews; their approach was natural, authentic, and sincere, which made us feel instantly comfortable. The chalets themselves suited our personality perfectly – modern, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed. Every detail seemed well thought out. The food was good, and the portions were generous. Adding to the charm was the resident family of monkeys around the property. They complimented the natural surroundings beautifully and made the experience even more memorable Overall, this stay stood out as a highlight of our entire trip. We felt very relaxed there. Four Chalets Yala combines comfort, design, and heartfelt hospitality in a way that’s rare to find. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yala and would absolutely return without hesitation.

Everything about this place was top quality. Massive comfy beds, strong hot shower, aircon, full kitchen, beautiful garden. It's all thought-out to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It's great for a couple of nights or longer term stays. Walking distance to beaches, and just a short drive to explore more of the south coast. Upul and his family are amazing hosts - such a welcoming family who will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Bonus points for the beautiful dog, Rocky (Upul will make sure you're comfortable with him being around - which we definitely were).
