Located in Udawalawe, NATURE HOUSE offers rustic accommodation with free WiFi access available at all areas. Rooms are comfortable, clean and fitted with a spacious private terrace. Very nice guesthouse managed by a sweet family who takes great care of you and the property. The food was excellent, and the safari experience we did with them too. They were very flexible to adapt things for us because of our 3 year old child. One of the best places we stayed in our 1month travel in Sri Lanka.

Wild River Side was the perfect place to stay for my trip to Udawalawe. Such a tranquil location with Sameera and his family being the perfect hosts. When I arrived he showed me around his garden and pointed out all the spices and plants he grows. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, I had the most restful night’s sleep and it’s truly a unique experience staying in the middle of the jungle amongst the wildlife. Sameera also organised a great safari for me with Milan. If this is part of your itinerary make sure to book through them! Afterwards the delicious home cooked breakfast introduced me to authentic Sri Lankan dishes including hoppers and their sweet pancake rolls. After checking out Sameera dropped me off at the bus stop and even waited with me to make sure I got on safely. This caring and considerate gesture reflects the hospitality at Wild River Side and I can’t recommend staying there enough.

Our safari trip was very well organized and it was really great. The hotel is built in a beautiful setting with a river. Everything was perfect.

The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We did the safari at the hotel and it was amazing. Our driver was very good and we saw a lot of elephants up close. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Near a beautiful river, designed with the environment in mind. Highly recommended for a few days stay.

Great location with an amazing view. The pool was beautiful. The access road isn’t the easiest, but it’s worth it. I learned that the owner prefers not to improve the road to protect the environment, and I completely agree. They arranged a 4WD vehicle from Kalawana, and that ride itself was an unforgettable experience. The staff were excellent. Our driver was careful, skilled, and drove like a pro, calm and friendly throughout. Then there’s our friend Ravi; a truly great person who treated us exceptionally well. He was considerate, helpful, and always willing to go above and beyond to provide anything we needed. The food was fantastic, with plenty of fresh and delicious fruits. The Sri Lankan breakfast was especially tasty. They also arranged a Singharaja tour for us, including a waterfall visit, which was a wonderful experience. Definitely worth the price. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the whole experience.

The Glenrock is located in Belihul Oya, on the southern slopes of the beautiful hill country of Sri Lanka. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV, and a seating area for your convenience. A unique boutique hotel in a unique location. We stayed for three days, it was three days of absolute peace, relaxation and fantastic views. There are only mountains, rice fields and wildlife around. Giant squirrels came to us for breakfast while we tasted the best tea in the world. A wonderful, courteous, friendly team that treats guests like beloved relatives. They are ready to respond to any whim (guys, we miss you already). To get to the most stunning views, the hotel provides you with transportation. And there is also a Spa where you can get treatments in complete unity with nature. In short, we have loved this place forever.
