The property was beautiful, luxurious, and an amazing value. It was our splurge hotel because we are usually pretty cheap, but the price was still very reasonable, and we have never stayed in such an amazing suite! We had a two bedroom suite - one was obviously set up for children with a nice twin bed and a crib in it, and the other one had a larger bed for a couple. There were fresh flowers everywhere, great amenities, and it looked like the other spa services would be quite amazing too, and very affordable. The staff was incredible, particularly Anna, she really made sure our stay was perfect. We did massages in the spa, and they were incredibly relaxing, yet still therapeutic. There is a grocery store about a block away, so you could really make use of the kitchen set up in the room if you wanted to save money. We went to the beach on the way out of town, and I highly recommend it - a beautiful area, fine sand beach with fun pebbles as well, and a TON of interesting things for kids of all ages to play on. The beach is rated excellent for swimming in Latvia’s standard rating system.

This appartment was just so incredibly nice, cozy, practical and comfortable. Everything was spotless clean. Super easy check in and check out. The friendly English speaking host even came to say hello in the evening to see that everything was fine. It's set in an old house off the road a bit, so it was quiet. The inside is completely renovated. There are so many electric sockets everywhere, so find a comfy place for work. Liepaja was my last stop in Latvia after 1 month traveling around the country, staying in hostels, hotels and apartments. This was by far the nicest place. It's an all weather year round place suitable for anybody regardless of your temperature preference. YOU control the temperature, no need to wait for the central heating to finally come on. The aircon unit has cooling and heating. There is also an ELECTRIC drying rack in the bathroom, just switch on and off according to demand. There is an outdoor table and chairs out front below your window. The Wifi is to die for, it's flying fast and reliable, not a single glitch. Incredibly lovely stay. Location is better than you think, if you plan to do long hikes both north and south, also several buses stop 200m down the road and heads into the market and beyond (also stops near the pickup point for the bus to Klaipeda in Lithuania).
