Set in Riga’s historic centre overlooking Bastion Hill, Grand Poet Hotel by Semarah combines contemporary design with five-star comfort. Guests can dine at the eclectic SNOB Restaurant or unwind at the exclusive Hedonic SPA & Wellness Centre, which offers a pool, sauna, hot tub, hammam, and a modern fitness area. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, including Riga specialties, and was delicious. We booked two rooms for my husband and two daughters, and they arranged for us to have adjacent rooms, which was very helpful. The staff were also new and very polite. The SPA concierge was especially helpful. about the location, within walking distance to Riga's Old Town.

In the summer guests can enjoy the outside terrace. Good Location, close to the city. Rooms are top notch, with very comfortable beds. Breakfast choices exceeded my expectations. Enough parking spaces at the back of the Hotel. We will definately stay here again.

Restaurant Lielupe serves international dishes, with a summer terrace and dedicated children’s menu. Guests can relax in the spacious Wellness Centre with indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, salt chamber, gym, yoga hall and a wide range of spa treatments. From 20:30, the spa becomes adults-only, ensuring a peaceful evening atmosphere. All was superb! Ir deserves evaluation of 11. Breakfast very taste, great choice. Restaurant for lunch and dinner can offer good menu. We had family room and layout with separating kids bed is well thought. Spa massages were nice. Pool not crowdy (stayed on weekdays). Kids room for free nice extra bonus. And last but not the least was great, helpful and polite personnel. It was our first stay here but I am sure not the last one.

We chose this guest house due to its great location outside the city in the Lielupe valley in Jurmala, which was convenient for us to get to in just 30 minutes from Olaine. We definitely enjoyed the main extra service - hot tub with whirlpool function under the open sky for up to 3-4 hours. Personally, I really liked the use of wood material in the interior of the guest house: especially the double bed made of logs and the sliding doors of the dark wooden bathroom. We applied for an additional service - breakfast, which was brought to the room in the morning by the couple of owners. It was a great gesture. Breakfast was fantastic: omelette with prosciutto (Italian) cured meat + delicious coffee with homemade carrot cake. I would like to thank the owners for the excellent welcome, for the special romantic atmosphere (lights both by the tub and in the room elements), and for the excellent and exceptionally well-kept wooden apartments, and for the sincerity.
