I had the best experience. I wanted to travel to the other side of the Atlas with public transport, but was stranded in Ghasatte. I enjoyed the Hammam, tajine perfect and the sun in the garden. Mohammed made sure I could continue my travels and arranged a place in a taxi collective. Hospitality comes naturally to him and his family. I'm very lucky to have stranded here.

If you are looking for a fancy hotel maybe it isn't a place for you, but if you are looking for a great local experience, want to stay in a more traditional setting, experience true berber hospitality, eat delicious home cooked meals (really outstanding!) and have some interactions with beautiful local family - it's definitely a place to consider. We felt fully taken care of, got lots of tips on what to do, visited a place where olives are turned into oil (cheers to the host's brother) and generally had wonderful time. Hope to came back with a bigger group one day.

Amazing experience, we really enjoy every moment. Mohamed is a friendly guy, fluent english, excellent communication. The desert camp is very nice and well organised. you could sleep under a sky full of stars, watch sunset after a camel ride, have a traditional dinner few steps away Sahara Desert. All the staff are very friendly too. A real nomad experience, deeply reccomended

We went by 4×4 and then enjoyed a beautiful camel ride with a stop to watch the sunset in the dunes. At the camp, Mohamed welcomed us warmly with traditional tea. The rooms were comfortable, the dinner was delicious, and the campfire show magical. Waking up early to see the sunrise in the desert was unforgettable. Highly recommend!

This is an gorgeous kasbah. The buildings and gardens are wonderful. We stayed at smaller riads in other locations and loved them. This is a larger and has more of a resort-like feel. But it's so well done that it doesn't matter. It's a great choice for Skoura.

Amazing location in the Sahara desert, very quiet and peaceful. Basic but authentic accommodation, with en suite facility which was important to us. Salah was a fantastic host, an excellent chef, serving authentic Berber cuisine - the best food we’ve enjoyed so far. And our outstanding experience was riding on the camels (dromedaries) through the desert. Perfect.
