We've spent a week on the island, in the end of December including Christmas. This was a very good time to visit the resort, as there are a number of festive activities including Santa's visit and presents for kids, Christmas dinner and lunch and some other singing and dancing events. Get a beach villa, as it is closer to restaurant and bar area, has its own beach and small terrace and safer for kids. Very important, villas on north-west side of the island are much better - the beach is bigger, wider, has less sharp corals and most importantly - almost no waves and wind. Other sides of the island are much more windy and the beaches are shallow and surrounded by wave splitters. Villas 415-430 are the best places on the island. Resort is quite new (built in 2022), so everything is looking great, staff is making sure that everything is clean and well-maintained, beaches are all nice and sharp corals are being removed from the sand almost daily. Villas are also looking great, cleaned daily, if needed. The AC is very quiet and keeps the villa as cool as you'd like it to without blowing directly to your neck. Wi-Fi is relatively ok, streaming is blocked, but video calling works effortlessly. Restaurant is spacious, so even though the resort was full we always found a place to sit. Choice of meals is pretty big, separate sections for Indian and International cuisine + an Asian corner with dishes from Maldives, Indonesia, China, etc. Choice of desserts is pretty big as well. Bar area is surprisingly nice, with great pool, big set of sun beds (never had to search for a free one) and a small beach. Bar is serving drinks and cocktails, and you can ask for a cocktails even if it's not on the list of free ones. During evenings the bar area is the usual place for events, live music and overall buzz. Shout to an excellent live band, you are amazing :)! The water villa was absolutely breathtaking so clean & comfortable and we cant wait to be back in paradise the spa was one of the best massages i have ever had would highly recommend ! all the food was fabulous the theme nights & entertainment are wondeful seaplane lounge and transfers were all smooth & great with loads of help from island host

Everything was so beautiful and the staff would bend over backwards to make everything perfect for your stay. No member of staff goes back without a cheerful good morning and are always looking to help you if necessary. The water villas were absolutely stunning and despite a bit of bad weather during our stay, we were far enough away from the beach to have excellent snorkelling sessions with perfect visibility. The food was pretty average but a good selection and if you’re staying with an all inclusive package the selection of cocktails is pretty good compared to other resorts in the Maldives. They are also very quick to deliver drinks to the water villas despite being quite far away (this obviously come at an additional charge despite being with the all inclusive package).

A Perfect Honeymoon Getaway We had a wonderful honeymoon from start to finish. After a smooth transfer, we were welcomed with early check-in to our stunning private pool villa facing the sunrise—a dreamy start! The buffet was varied and tasty, the cocktails were excellent, and we enjoyed the à la carte restaurants. The Italian restaurant was a standout, thanks to Dilan, who treated us with kindness and a smile we’ll always remember. We loved the romantic beach dinner, water sports, and fun excursions—though the snorkeling could have been a bit longer and more vibrant. Before departure, we were offered a courtesy room to shower, e was a kind gesture, even if the room felt far below the hotel’s standard. Aside from one unpleasant staff member at the souvenir shop, everything else was fantastic. Highly recommended—we’d happily return!

Island is stunning and a 30 minute walk around so big enough to stretch your legs. Accommodation is clean and comfortable and well equipped. Buffet restaurant is amazing and there is something for everyone. Staff are friendly and helpful and always smiling. Reef is badly bleached due to global warming but snorkelling is still fantastic. You will see so many different fish and even sharks (young) and turtles. Island is striving to be eco friendly and no plastic bottles anywhere! Solar will be introduced soon. Activities are over priced and therefore under used. $900 for a 20 minute flight to the nearby island from Male is a rip off.

Bandos resort is a private island located 8 Km away from Male. Bandos Maldives features spacious rooms with balconies overlooking the garden or beach. Everything was amazing ! The food was excellent , very high quality of food , fresh and delicious. The location of the rooms near the beach ! The spa was over over amazing ! Had the best aromatherapy massage ever !

The two islands are large enough where you get a bike to cycle around but small enough to feel really secluded out in nature. The water is calm and magical and the restaurant/ pool area on the smaller island is stunning. I highly recommend the all inclusive package. Amazing drinks and an extensive wine list.
