We were greeted by staff at the front desk who cheerfully fixed my mistake. Our rooms were beyond what the photos show. We were greeted with a shot of Tequila and staff drove us to a restaurant and then picked us up. They had to make 3 trips each way for all of us. I can't say enough kind words to the front counter staff. We were all hugging them when left. This is a stunning hotel with a nice restaurant next door. We're staying longer next time. They went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. We arrived earlier than check in time and left later than check out time and they accommodated us, no problem. The breakfast was excellent and through chatting with them we learned a lot about Guanajuato and their families. The locale is ideal… but if you walk home it will test your legs on the uphill. 😆 We used the pool and relaxed on their deck. It was all excellent.
