This property has a wonderfully relaxing ambiance that comes from Virgilio himself to start with and then also from the staff and customers, many of whom seem to be regular guests. Breakfast is served outdoors and is a great opportunity to meet fellow guests, swap tales of where to go and generally share our varied (mostly Canadian) backgrounds and make new friends. Although we have previously travelled from Britain to this area of Mexico five times we previously stayed in all inclusive hotels and much prefer Casa Virgilios as a base as you can try local restaurants and explore more.

It features a roof-top terrace with ocean, a hot tub views and a garden with swimming pool and Jacuzzi. gorgeous view and balcony. Loved that we could see the ocean from our balcony. Lots of trees and nature, very close to the beach, quick walk to downtown and the nearby restaurants were delicious and often had live music. Quiet at night - outside of the party noise, so easy to fall asleep. We felt spoiled by the daily room cleaning. The kitchen was well stocked so we could cook ourselves breakfast each morning.
