The jacuzzi under the stars was the icing on the cake. There are also chickens, quails and rabbits in the garden so we had fresh eggs in the morning. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area with tips for walks and days out. We will stay again!

The historic hanseatic city of Zutphen is located 10 km from the hotel. Kasteel Engelenburg is situated on a gorgeous property. The building has been lovingly maintained and is just beautiful. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful. I enjoyed all my meals here (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) - everything is elegantly presented and delicious. I wasn't at Engelenburg to play golf, but I could still admire the grounds with a walk around the property. Furthermore, there are bikes for guests (regular bikes are free, e-bikes can be rented for a small fee) and immediate access to bike paths to explore the region. I can't recommend them highly enough!
