Refreshment tables in halls plus free mini bars were nice touches. Quirky 2 person lift cleverly fitted inside old house saved the stairs. All round a great stay.

Hotel Texel is characterized by its welcoming hospitality in combination with modern comforts. Relax in this charming hotel with a heated indoor pool and a fine dining restaurant. The area , the staff were exceptional. Pool very good and the food was different to normal and well presented.

Close to the beach, Landgoed Hotel Tatenhove Texel features free Wi-Fi throughout and is situated in peaceful natural surroundings. De Duinen Van Texel National Park is only 400 metres away. Nice view outside (I attached a photo). Clean room. Modern decor (we loved it). Friendly front desk. Fabulous breakfast, loved that home-made yogurt. Highly recommend.

The hosts were perfect: attentive, always smiling, and very kind. They took excellent care of us – the breakfasts were exceptional, the kind I wish I could have every day. After coming back from trips, we were even welcomed with a fresh juice or a mocktail. The surroundings were enchanting – a peaceful and charming Dutch countryside setting, yet just a short distance from big cities like Amsterdam and Almere. The location was perfectly accessible, and it was impossible to get lost. A real highlight for me was the beautiful horse named Zorba, who made the place feel even more special – I was absolutely delighted with him. The whole stay left me with unforgettable memories. I felt as if I were in a movie or on holiday abroad, and I can honestly say I have never stayed anywhere more beautiful.

The location is great. The room had windows to two sides with views of the harbour. It was comfortable and immaculately clean - and great shower and spa bath. Coffee and tea making facilities. The owner was friendly and couldn't have done more to make us welcome. As for the breakfast - served in your room and amazing. Everything good quality and tailored to your requests. A perfect stay. One thing to note - the stairs are steep and narrow - would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems.
