Staff was friendly and very accommodating, from dining options to arranging activities. Lounge area was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Best activity for our Norway trip: dog sledding on the first snows of the season.

Good sized room very nicely appointed - encouraged to use slippers inside on arrival which adds to cosy nature of property. Service was excellent, as was breakfast and dinner. Complimentary tea/coffee available all day. Good spot for hiking and northern lights (if weather permits). Must be fantastic in winter.

Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements.

Holmen Husky is a small, family-run business who has been working with dogs since the 80s. Some of us have even grown up in the dogyard and on the sled. It is much more than an activity or an experience that has got us all addicted. it’s a feeling that must be experienced. We had an all around fantastic stay. Staff was really nice and proactive to make you feel at home. The included breakfast and the meals we ordered were delicious. Certainly a fantastic experience if you're looking for something other than the usual hotel room. And as luck has had it the weather allowed us to see a beautiful aurora right there and then.

A modern service building is located next door and features showers, changing rooms and a luggage storage room. Sorrisniva also has a sauna and 2 bookable, outdoor hot tubs for warming up and relaxation. Our stay in the ice hotel and meal in Maku was excellent, the staff were so accommodating and friendly

You can clearly feel the passion and dedication of those who manage it: nothing is left to chance, and every detail is a gesture of care towards the guests.
