If you choose the Viking experience for dinner, prepare to be surprised. The feeling, the food, the entire setting—it’s something else. The fish dish in particular was incredibly fresh and simply prepared in the best way possible. It lets the flavor speak for itself. The Viking house is truly one of a kind. How can anything compare to that? Olef clearly loves his place and his history. He doesn’t just run the hotel—he lives it. He is a genuine Viking, and it shows in every part of what he’s created here.

Sara is an excellent and caring host! She gave us great tips on where to shop and what to see, and was always available to answer questions about the house and the surrounding area. Villa Freya is an exeptional holiday home with really everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We stayed there with our children and their partners and felt right at home immediately. I had a wonderful time here, it was confy, it was fun and a good warm feeling as if you were home. The owners provided with lots of information of the area and ofcourse a lot of entertainment. If I could give an higher rating than 10, I would have given an 11 !!

The kitchen was well equipped with almost everything you might need. With both a Sauna and Jacuzzi we had a relaxing and wonderful stay.
