Apparently, there were a couple of nice viewpoints nearby so we could just walk there. And, of course, the possibility of seeing the northern lights from the comfort of your room is hard to beat. We have seen it twice during our 6-nights stand. Absolutely loved it! The ladies who work there are also very helpful and nice. The kitchen was very well equipped, we have managed to make a New Year’s Eve dinner for two with no problem. They also have sauna! And although I couldn’t use it, my husband took a full advantage of it :) Would come back in the summer!

Stamsund is a quite and small town, there is a shop with gas station near by the house. It is a nice starting point for Lofoten trips with a bigger town Leknes about 15 minutes of driving. The owner showed us briefly every part of house and gave some guidance about the area. We had a really good time here.
