We were staying in the hotel, but when we saw the cabins, we were sorry we did not book rather one of canin-they are very Nice! Room was comfortable, especially bed, and warm. We had the access to fully equiped kitchen all the time. Short distance away, 10 mins walk, you can access great Sauna or walk to the fjord.

Staff were amazing, we were welcomed immediately and always felt we could ask if we needed anything. The room was large and beautifully crafted with very comfortable beds. Unlike other hotels where the room is just a place to sleep - this one you didn't want to leave. The beautiful views over the lake and the comfy chairs to sit in and watch it just made it a space you wanted to spend all your time in. Also the wifi was amazing. We would 100% come back to this hotel, we may even come back to this area just to be able to stay at this hotel. I miss it already!

The hot tub was sadly out of action but the owners didn't hesitate to offer a discount. The apartment is about a 20 minutes from the centre of Bergen Comfortable beds, very handy to have washing facilities with 2 teenage kids, and the owners couldn't do enough to help us. A very enjoyable stay.
