Close to the marina restaurant area and shopping. Easy walking everywhere. The room was lovely. Very impressed when we opened the door. The bed was really comfortable and loved the little balconies over the street. The breakfast was so tasty and well thought out.

The bed was extremely comfortable with beautiful and soft linens. Everything we needed was there, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, towels for makeup removal, towels for showers and for the beach. Although we did not use the robes they were provided. This place is right in town and easy access to shops, breakfast, dinner and the Matakana Saturday Market which was a lot of fun! Wonderful A+ Host.

We had an issue with one appliance and they immediately responded to help diagnose and solve (problem was caused by a previous guest).

Diane was an unmatched host! She was so warm and welcoming even though we messed up our booking a little. We left a little larger around the waistline following the consumption of her continuous supply of home baked goods 😍 Even though it was well located we felt like we were in the middle of the forest with endless bush views. A truly homely and unique stay :)
